I was born in 1974 in Welwyn Garden City, but it wasn't long before I moved to London. I was spotted by a Premier Model Management scout while I was dancing on a podium in a London nightclub and things just went from there. I've been modelling for 8 years and it's been a great career so far, working with top photographers such as David Bailey, Nick Knight, Kim Knott and Andre Rau. I've been able to travel the world, meet many interesting people and have a lot of fun. But it's hard work too. I always have to look my best and smile and laugh even if I don't feel in the mood and there's a lot of pressure on you. I've done shoots for all the major fashion magazines - Vogue, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan and I seem to be especially popular with the men's magazines like FHM and GQ and Esquire. Lisa's appeared in hundreds of campaigns and commercials for all sorts of products and companies. Some of well known adverts are the Lynx advert with Lisa in a lift, the Special K ad - everyone seems to remember me in a red swimsuit in that one - Gossard, Mercedes Benz and Neutrogena. I've just done two new commercials which I love; one for Dove soap (you can't see me very well but the whole effect is just really beautiful) and a Martini ad with George Clooney that unfortunately will only be showing in Italy. We shot it in Spain in a really gorgeous hotel and had a great time. I love doing TV work. Over the last year I have been working with street.tv as a key presenter for their shows and programmes and I have just signed a contract with MTV and will be presenting 'Select' mondays, tuesdays and wednesdays 4-6pm (GMT) moving to 5 days a week in the New Year. So, you'll be seeing a lot more of me on your TV screens. |
