| Her father is an important songs writter, Roberto Cantoral, and her mother is the argentinian actress Itati Zucchi. When Itati was 13, she started formally her studies of actress in the CEA (Centro de educacion artictica de "Televisa"). Since the beginning her teachers taught her the importance of acting, thats why she was invited to perfromance on the tv show "La Telara?a". In 1991 she acted in telenovela "Muchachitas". Itati has a big succesfful with that novela and it turned her into playing at the theater. But the first very important character in her career was in the production of Carla Estrada - in novela "De frente al Sol" in which Itati acted with great actresses like Angelica Aragon and Maria Sorte. This novela was really important for Itati, because she met a guy who will be her husband in the future, Eduardo Santamarina... Since 1993 Itati didn't stop working. She acted in telenovelas like "Dos mujeres y un camino", "Maria la del barrio", "Tu y yo, "Salud, dinero y amor" and "Infierno en el paraiso". Itati's theater carrer was very successful too. Cantoral acted in plays like "Sugar", "Cuatro vagos y una sinverguenza" and "Aventurera". At beginning of the 2000 Itati got married with Eduardo Santamarina. Then, she gave birth to beautifull twins Eduardo and Roberto Miguel. In 2001, Itati has acted in telenovela "Sin pecado concebido" with Angelica Rivera, Carlos Ponce and Sergio Goyri. In 2002 Itati went to Brazil to play in telenovela "Vale todo" for "TV Globo". |
